I'd love to see the 'connect' feature working inside Media Compose (if it does)?
Hi Daniel,
RX 5's RX Connect has been qualified to work with both Media Composer 7.0.4.4 and 8.4.2. Please let us know if you are having issues with these versions of MC working with RX 5.
Hi Rob,
I posted on the "Audio Repair and Noise Reduction Plug in Recommendation?" thread before I found you here.
I am a video editor using RX 5 Audio Editor with Media Composer 8.6.5 and am trying to figure out best practices and "no-no"s for Dialogue Tracks. I am hoping you can point me in the right direction. Most of the tips at the iZotope site are about music mixing. Your tutorials being about earlier versions of both programs, has been good for an overview of the process, and Bill at iZotope Support has answered my newbie questions. I do understand that audio sweetening is a matter of trial and error, but I am hoping to find a few workflow basics.
I started from this How-to provided by iZotope
https://www.izotope.com/en/support/knowledge-base/how-to-use-rx-connect-with-avid-media-composer-7-0-4-4-8-4-2.html
My master clips are too large to work in Master Clip Mode (on my system). The instructions for RX Connect in the Timeline Mode are unclear.
For instance, I tried to apply the iZotope DeNoise to a track in the timeline, but the processing delay made it impossible to preview. Should I adjust a clip and then apply Global? That is, keep the track-level processing in Media Composer? Most people I know use iZotope with Pro Tools which is a more friendly host.
Thank you for listening.
Joyce
I have pretty good realtime behaviour on my Pc systems , there are some effects that needs to be used inside the audio suite as they don´t render in sync as track effects
