Time warp help AVID MC 8.3

    Hi,

Could someone help me with timewarp?  Usually I paste a Timwarp icon on the timeline, click Effect Editor, and the graph appears.  But now, when I click Effect Editor I get just the usual Effect Editor window, with nothing in it except "Color Adapter"; Is this a novelty of MC 8.3?  How can I access the Timewarp Graph?

I'm working with footage shot with Canon 5D, imported as Avid Dnxhd 120, 1080i/50

    My producer's system specs are:

    Mac Pro -

    3GHz 8-core Intel Xeon E5

    32 Go 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC

    AMD FirePro D700 6144 Mo

    Thanks Huh?

When that happens to me, I go to Tools > Motion Effect Editor to get to the right tool.  I don't know a way to make it automatically open the motion effect editor when there are other effects on the clip.

Thanks, didn't think of that.  Duh.  Just used to old habits.

You know what, after awhile I finally found the  "motion effect" icon over with the so-called smart tools.

I guess that makes more sense for newer users.
