Hi,
I've upgraded to MC8.3 yesterday. All seems fine exept of: when I try to export as quicktime reference, Avid creates a new sequence with the ending Exported.01. Some of the Master Clips in the Sequence (not all (!)) are collapsed, althought there is only the Master clip inside if I double click on it. And Avid starts to render effects before exporting (probably trying to render the collapsed effects).
After a certain time, the Render is aborted with the message "Track 1 one not found". There is no usable QT-Reference file exported.
When I export Quicktime "same as source", it works all fine. When I Export in other formats it also seems to be fine.
The sequence Masterclips are in DNxHD85 50i.
Yesterday I exported the same sequence with MC6.5.4 and the same QT-Ref settings without problems.
As the problem only occurs on certain masterclips, certain other sequences seem to be unaffected by this!
Any ideas??
Thanks,
Michael
I tested some more:
Problem seems only to happen on AVCHD Material, that was transcoded to DNxHD85 from AMA files. AVCHD Material that was imported trough the Import function does not appear to have the same problems.
Nevertheless it's strange that this problem only occurs since MC 8.3, as with older MC6.5.4 all worked fine.
???
Thanks for help, Michael
For anybody reading this:
I found the solution myself. When Importing AVCHD throungh AMA avid interpretes something wrong and trys to correct this through source settings.
The solution for me was to mark all affected Masterclips, right click on "source settings" and correct the wrong settings. In my case it was a wrong aspect ratio.
Cheers, Michael
