Hi,If I render an effect, and later decide to change the edit, how do I get into the drive and delete that first render?
HI.
You should:

Sorry, not quite sure I follow. I did: Hamburger > Active Settings > Render... and up comes a load of technical options. But no list of all rendered fx thus far, so I cannot choose to then delete.
Here you have:
Bin hamburger/Set bin display/rendered effects/delete.
My Bin > Set Bin Display is greyed out
Are you sure you followed the steps I told you?
CV
In the Bin drop-down there is "Set Bin Display", and this is greyed-out. I'm not sure what 'bin hamburger' means. If you mean the icon, then after clicking this there is nothing that then tallies with the screengrab you posted earlier.
Did you see this?
And then....Set bin display?
In principle, yes. Although it's greyed out. In fact, the whole of the Bin drop-down is greyed out.
Try right-clicking in the Bin with nothing else highlighted or selected
also, you can use Media Tool to delete Pre-Computes (ie, "renders")

Nope, or maybe I'm missing something here... Media Tools > [select drives and project] > Precompute Clips > OK... pulls up a window lising some fx (see attached)... but selcting clip and pressing Delete does nothing.
