    Re: Powershell media export

    Richard,

    Please send the XML Request from SoapUI that is causing the SAAJ object model error. We'll take a look at it here...

    Re: Powershell media export

    Hi Rob,

    It's exactly the same as the original call, but just with a MobID added e.g.

    call made to

    http://10.162.22.10/services/Jobs

    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:typ="http://avid.com/interplay/ws/assets/types" xmlns:typ1="http://avid.com/interplay/ws/jobs/types">

       <soapenv:Header>

          <typ:UserCredentials>

               <typ:Username>imagen</typ:Username>

               <typ:Password>xxxxx</typ:Password>

          </typ:UserCredentials>

       </soapenv:Header>

       <soapenv:Body>

          <typ1:SubmitJobUsingParameters>

             <typ1:Service>com.avid.dms.longgopexport</typ1:Service>

             <typ1:InterplayURI>interplay://DUBWG?mobid=060a2b340101010101010f0013-000000-54b4f1ffca9e001c-060e2b347f7f-2a80</typ1:InterplayURI>

             <typ1:Parameters>

                <jobs:Parameter Name="MobID">060a2b340101010101010f0013-000000-54b4f1ffca9e001c-060e2b347f7f-2a80</jobs:Parameter>

               <typ1:Parameter Name="High Priority">false</typ1:Parameter>

               <typ1:Parameter Name="TM_Server">dub-ip-tm1</typ1:Parameter>

               <typ1:Parameter Name="TM Profile">DAM</typ1:Parameter>

               <typ1:Parameter Name="Priority">50</typ1:Parameter>

             </typ1:Parameters>

          </typ1:SubmitJobUsingParameters>

       </soapenv:Body>

    </soapenv:Envelope>

    Re: Powershell media export

    rwassal,

    The issue that's causing the "Problems creating SAAJ object model" error is a mismatch in the namespace prefix for the MobID parameter.

    Try replacing "jobs" with "typ1" here:

    <typ1:Parameter Name="MobID">060a2b340101010101010f0013-000000-54b4f1ffca9e001c-060e2b347f7f-2a80</typ1:Parameter>

    XML is a bit funky in that you can use any namespace you want for a prefix (like typ, typ1, jobs, assets, etc.), as long as it is defined at the top and is consistent within the block (but this leads to copy and paste errors...).

    Re: Powershell media export

    Apologies Rob, I should have spotted that one.

    After changing the namespace alias the call worked, I received a JobURI, but when I use GetJobStatus to check the progress, I receive the following error and no file is output

    [Error] Incompatible Transfer Manager API version, error: The server is not responding.

    Re: Powershell media export

    Some further info.

    The client has reconfigured the profile. I submit a job, query the JobURI for progress, I see one percent complete, query the progress again, get the "Incompatible Tranfer Manager API version" error and no file is output to the remote FTP location.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Richard
