Getting an Exception: STREAM_SIZE_EXCEEDED, className:ameBaseStream while Transcoding inMC 6.5.4.4

Getting an Exception: STREAM_SIZE_EXCEEDED, className:ameBaseStream while Transcoding inMC 6.5.4.4
in files over 7 minutes. Files smaller seem to transcode fine.
Files are Canon files of some sort not sure what the camerman used.

Any insight would be very appreciated!

    Thanks.

    Try reverting 6.5.4.2 or 6.5.4.

Thanks, but 6.5.4.2 has a really bad Title Tool bug in it. Which I reported.

I'd rather find out what the specific problem is.

And I'm trying to wait for that impossible time when I don't have a project going

to upgrade to 7 or 8. I'm cutting a series that each episode is shot with a different set

    of cameras!

    Hi all,

I'm experiencing the same problem but I'm consolidating media from one drive to another and having the consolidation process delete the original files.  Seems to happen with longer clips (say 10min and over).  Shorter clips seem to be fine.

My current workaround is to use the "Reveal File" function on the longer clips and cut and paste the relevant media files at desktop level.  Not pretty, but it does get the job done.

This has been an issue since 6.5.4.2. Support couldn't reproduce my issue and closed my case. The only totally functional workaround has been to stick with 6.5.4 on OSX or 6.5.4.1 on Windows.

    ***UPDATE***

I have upgraded to v8.4.4 and the problem has not been fixed.

Fortunately, the (rather) old MacPro system with v8.4.1 is not exhibiting this problem so I'm having to do all my consolidating on that machine.

    FWIW...
