We "upgraded" from 2.1.5 to 2.1.7 a few weeks ago. Didn't really notice any worthwhile improvements, but one thing we did pick up is a fault in the input tool vectorscope. When I look at bars coming in, on any input (component, composite or sdi), there is a very noticeable "notch" near the yellow chip. It doesn't seem to be on the output, but we spent quite a while trying to figure out what it was. Called avid, reloaded settings, tried some other stuff, but they didn't have a clue either. They eventually wanted to sell us a new video board. Just for the heck of it, I went back to 2.1.5 this morning and the problem has disappeared. Anybody else seen it?

Thanks for the post Jim, I was just about ready to send my camera's out for a check up. I'll revert back to 2.16 and see if this helps.

We've had lots of Runtime errors and access denied on vesion 2.1.7. Been told a fix is on it's way in the next few weeks but might still be worth going back to 2.1.5. in the meantime.
