    Initialization error 7 -any help

I cant seem to open up MC 6.5. It opens with the splash screen and goes through it's normal initialization process then when it reaches the audio initialization it comes up with a error

Then when I click ok this is displayed

Can anyone help? I can't seem to move beyond this to open MC. I have tried restarting the computer but nothing changed.

Re: Initialization error 7 -any help

This error seems to be happening more and more in MC7

I and another user had a Code-7 error with MC7.

So maybe the same procedures we tried to fix the problem will work for you too.

See this THREAD there are a couple of links to suggested sources for a solution.

    Good luck

    Regards

Re: Initialization error 7 -any help

    Thanks Douglas

I went through the thread you suggested and tried the solutions but they did not work. I then decided to upgrade my Malwarebytes and do a malware search and found 10 viruses. I removed them and now MC is back to normal.
