    Avid FX 6.2 not in effects palette

    Just installed Avid FX 6.2 and FX is no longer in my effects palette.

    Original version 6.0.0.904 was in palette.

    I would like to keep in effects palette so question is:

    How do I restore FX to effects palette?

    I just noticed the same thing.

    It looks like the installer does not default to select installing the AvidFX Plugin.  Re-run the installer, making sure the first item is also checked.

    That took care of the issue for me.
