In previous versions of Media Composer, after you double-clicked on a clip in a bin and played around with it in the Source Monitor, the clip stayed highlited in the bin. Now, with MC6 the clips don't stay highlighted.

I did notice that if the Project and bin were made in MC5, the clip does stay highlighted. But this doesn't hold true for new bins made in MC6.

Anyone know if this is a bug or a setting preference they turned off by default?

Bug? I guess. It is this way in 6.5 as well. The clips stay highlighted, you just need to click on the top of the bin and it will show which clip is highlighted.

I DISLIKE this please bring back the highlight of clips no matter which window is active.

This is a very important part of my process as an assistant editor. Please bring it back!
