so whats the verdict? 10.7.4 support or no? one mod says yes, one mod says no. Marianna?
Excellent news!
Should I deactivate my 6.0.1.1 before installing 6.0.3?
Yes, deactivate your license first before uninstalling 6.0.1.1 and installing 6.0.3.

For users staying on 10.7.3, do they need to deactivate or can they just use the uninstall/re-install path that was followed with 6.0.1 and 6.0.1.1? I didn't see anything definitive in the readme.
Os doesn´t matter, just use the ALC tool to deactivate and use a wired connection for safety, then use the uninstaller to remove it all , install 6.0.3 and activate using ALC and that same wired connection again.
For us with dongles it´s easier ..

Since on Mac platforms, ANY Avid NLE software upgrade or patch update is considered and treated as a full version install, requiring an uninstall of the current version, you should always deactivate your software license first through the ALC (Avid License Control) application before uninstalling the current version. No exceptions to that rule.
Thank you AVID!

Ouch!!
i'm downloading the 6.0.3 version, but i already uninstalled the 6.0.1.1 without deactivation! I forgot it!!
What can i do?

Robert Goodman :so whats the verdict? 10.7.4 support or no?
Robert you were obviously an early mover to 10.7.4 (I skipped 10.7.3 and 10.7.4) so why not jump to 10.8? The Mountain Lion upgrade cost peanuts, and took less than 15 minutes to install here.
This is the quickest that I can remember that Avid have supported a new OS. I would have thought this would be welcomed with open arms by the "must have the latest" Mac crowd. I took it as a sign that ML is more friendly to Avid than 10.7.x
FWIW I have now done 8 hours editing on a Mac Book Pro with 6.0.3 and ML and so far been trouble free. Avid is installed on the laptop along with Resolve 9 Beta (which suggested it was happiest with 10.8)
Please make Slip and Slide mode selection AND any added new functions available for mapping (to buttons or KB) via the Command Palette.

You can use the ALC (Avid License Control) application in the "Avid Utilities" folder to deactivate the license yourself after you have installed 6.0.3 before you launch it.
When you installed Mountain Lion did you do a clean install or install over Lion? Just curious.

Bingo!
Thanks Larry. I forgot ALSO this possibility of Media Composer 6....
Few minutes and the 6.0.3 will be in my hands....
