Hi I am using AVID 126.96.36.199 on my Mac 10.7.4.
I want to upgrade to Mountain Lion, but I am afraid that my current AVID version will not work.
Does anyone know?
This is the only MC5/Mountain Lion test post I could find (not to say there may not be others, just that I didn't see any). Doesn't look promising:
"There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who only consider the price are this man's lawful prey." - John Ruskin (1819-1900)

v6 isn't yet qualified for Mountain Lion. Doubtful v5 ever will. Time to upgrade or dual boot.
Why do you want to upgrade? What will 10.8 get you that you must have?
If you use Avid to earn a living, it's best to run it on a qualified system, to ensure that it works properly.
And Hans, for your reference, here is the Media Composer version matrix.
