    Effect editors font

    Hi all

Is there a way to change the font and the size of the font of the effect editor sliders and numbers?

It's very small and very hard to read.

    Thanks

    Yair

    Yair,

Right click in the area close to the text and choose the "Large Text" option

    Re: Effect editors font

    Yair,

The control of fonts inside Avid has always been a mystery and a point of great discussion.

I have found that there are 2 different type of font control being used. Some font appearances are controlled from within Avid and can be set as a different font and size. But if you change the default to suit your eyes in one area . . . . .  the font will change in other areas too. Sometimes those other changes are too much. Usually Avid's default is better.

The other fonts are controlled by Windows (I am only speaking about Windows here, as I have no experience with the MAC isde of life) and are set through the Windows control panel by changing the default settings and even the Locale settings. This is also likely to give mixed results.

I have not changed or tried to change any font sizes by any of the above control methods for the past 4 to 5 years. So I really don't remember much about them at all.

Maybe someone else who knows a good answer can come in here and add some words of wisdom.

In the end you may find that you will either:

    1. Have to change your screen resolution to affect the general overall size of your workspace.

    2. Sit closer to the monitor

    3. Get new reading glasses. or just

    4. Get used to living with it as it is  Geeked

    Regards,
    Douglas
