Hey, i'm using MC5 on a Mac and whenever i have multiple video layers and attempt to apply some simple dissolves to the begining and end of clips, my avid freezes, comes up SpringBuffer TIMEOUT and i'm unable to continue working. As soon as i remove the one or two basic dissolves, all is well. No corrupt clips, it's simply applying this effect that causes this error. I've tried rendering but that doesn't work. Does anyone know what this error is and why a simple effect like a dissolve causes my system to go into meltdown under these circumstances? I really need to be able to do basic things like this on multiple video tracks...thoughts? Thanks in advance. Tim
Ι have seen this error only when I was using a Blackmagic card on PC though,
