    splice in after audio dissolve

I'm having an issue with Media Composer 4.0.2 running on a iMac.

When I "splce -in" a clip after another clip that has an audio dissolve, it displaces the other audio in the timeline after that by the same number of frames as the audio dissolve (e.g. 100 frame audio dissolve displaces all other audio on those tracks by 100 frames). The AVID -100 warning appears on all clips in the timeline after that.

It only happens when the clip is spliced into the same track as tehe audio dissolve, not if it's spliced into a new track and it also stops happening if you delete the audio dissolve. All the tracks are linked together so it's not as if they're moving independently.

Is this a MC 4 bug or just a setting issue?
