Re: Invalid File Name error upon startup

I ran into this error message this morning when booting up my Symphony software.  I read your answer and realized I had the Gravity soundtrack on my desktop and it had a / in the name.  Sure enough, I ejected it and Shazaam! - now boots up fine.

Thanks for spreading the knowledge Mike!

Re: Invalid File Name error upon startup

This thread is 3 years old but still relevant.  I've just spent an hour trying to understand why I got a "Invalid File Name" error message upon start up.  It had never happened before!  I copied all my Project folders onto another drive, deleted them from my main drive, searched for misplaced slashes or colons or whatever, then decided to consult the forum.  The comic book light bulb that turns on when the character gets a brilliant idea happened when reading your post.  IT WAS THE CD WITH A SLASH IN THE NAME.

All is well, so lucky this is a good forum.
