When I purchased MC V6.0 I also purchased the new version of BCC 8.0. It installed just fine, but now just comes up with the warning "BCC* trial period has expired on this system. To purchase a licence contact Boris ". The problem is - it is not a trial version. I purchased a full version with my MC 6 upgrade, and installed the provided serial number on installation. I am guessing that this has something to do with the fact that I purchased an upgrade (as I also own BCC 6 used for all my other MC installations). I left BCC 6 on the system in case it was needed but this has not helped.
Has anyone successfully installed BCC 8 in a similar situation. If so what am I doing wrong?
Any help much appreciated.
All the best,
Graeme
When you brought BCC8 you should have received an email with a registration or activation number along with instructions. Have you got that email?
(that is how it worked here when I brought BCC 8 in November)
Please make Slip and Slide mode selection AND any added new functions available for mapping (to buttons or KB) via the Command Palette.
I had the same problem and called Boris. They sent me a new code and it cleared up the issue. Give 'em a shout.
I had a problem like that once, see this thread: http://community.avid.com/forums/p/105760/611947.aspx
