Anyone brave enough to upgrade their OS to Lion 10.7.3?  Reports?

I'd give it a go. Things can only get better can't they?

But is it supported by Avid yet?

I´m trying with beginning today, the first version of 10.7.3 was reported to be broke so it was replaced some day after the first release

Running 6.0.1 on OS 10.7.3, and no problems yet (knock on wood)....

I've upgraded my system to Lion 10.7.3 and my media composer 6.0.1 doesn't work with it. Any idea for the Media Composer 6 updates regarding lion ?

I imagine Avid will be testing and depending on what Apple have changed (a quite a bit I hope) it may take a while for Avid to be sure (or update) that MC works fine.

I downloaded 6.0.1 and it's not working on my OS 10.7.3 ? Any tips how I can make it work?

Think I'll wait.  No reason for me to rush yet.  Except that all APPLE Apps take forever to open, spinning beach ball, I presume its a "Versions" thing.  I hate Versions! Bring back "Save AS" and stop Opening my old files!!!

10.7.3 and Avid 6.0 worked....6.0.1 wouldn't install....tech support said, after 3 hours, that it wasn't compatible....one of the moderators in this forum said it was.  I've been away from Avid for about 5 years...their software has changed but their tech support hasn't.

Just to clarify so everyone knows, 10.7.3 is at this time NOT QUALIFIED FOR ANY VERSION OF MEDIA COMPOSER. When it does get qualified, rest assured we will make a very prominent announcement on these boards. So, for now, use 10.7.3 at your own risk.

Hmm. Like i said a few posts up I've upgraded the OS and Composer and have no problems. I upgraded to 10.7.3 before installing the 6.0.1 update. I wonder if that has anything to do with it......

No one is saying that MC will not work with 10.7.3. Just that it is currently NOT SUPPORTED by Avid. So until it does get qualified, if you have problems running MC on 10.7.3, you cannot get help from tech support. It's a gamble - for some people it works, for others it doesn't.

should've checked the ReadMe.  You are so right.  What confused me was 6.0 was working with 10.7.3 so I "assumed" 6.0.1 would work also.  Silly me!
