I've always been a big fan of Option-clicking the Pan slider to set my tracks to the "Mid" position. In the Media Composer 6 audio mixer, Option-clicking is not behaving correctly. I've tried all the modifiers I can think of and can't get it to snap to the "mid" position. 

In the help menu --> shortcuts it still lists that an Option+ click will pan the audio knob to the "mid" position. The actual behavior is as follows:

Option-clicking A1 will snab the knob "hard left". Option-clicking A2 will snap the knob "hard right".

has this problem been fixed?  I have this problem on my Avid MC6 (Windows 7)

Not on 6.01. Quite annoying. But I'm sure there's lots else to be fixed...
