I own MC5.5.3 and I just purchased the MC6 update. I feel cheated because I purchased 5.5.3 only about 2 months ago. Already having to pay for an upgrade is very disappointing. As if that isn't bad enough all MC6 image installer downloads are corrupt. Doesn't matter if downloaded from the Download Center or from the provided purchase conformation email download link. The .dmg files do have different names "MediaComposer_6.0.0.dmg" or "MediaComposer600_Mac_73973.dmg". When the first package is verified I am presented with an "invalid checksum" error, when the second package is verified I am presented with an "image data corrupted" error. When I skip the verification it does mount but when I try to install MC6 I get an "Installation Failed" error. All other image (.dmg/.img etc.) files on my system mount without errors. I can't seem to find any direct email support or contact information. When I try to create a new user (register) for the Support Center I get an(other) error... I will have to wait 2.5 days to be able to call support... I am not happy! Can somebody from Avid help me asap please? I am running Lion 10.7.2 on a MacbookPro 17” i7. Thanks. Pepijn.

I know the installers are not corrupt as thousands and thousands of folks have downlaoded them suvccessfully. Send me an email and I will provide you direct links to the software.
