    "Advanced Keyframes"

This whole keyframe thing has really slowed me down. It's so much slower...and the inconsistency...picture in picture comes with two redundant greyed-out keyframes, while resize comes with none...who on earth thought that it was a good idea to change it?

It's also pretty flaky, sometime saving parameters, other times not... also,de-selecting keyframes at random, or adding them for no apparent reason.

Then there's not being able to set a default bin background...I can't see black against dark grey very well...why can't I set a default white background? I've just completed a project where I had 250 bins, I had to change the background on each one, and it very often takes 2 or more mouse-clicks, no wonder my shoulder is getting sore.

And why can we get the extended colour palette for track colours and bin backgrounds, but not for clip colours?

My two fellow editors and I are really disappointed with the "upgrade" to MC5. We work on a weekly long-form current affairs program and we have to be able to move fast, so these things that slow us down cause great stress.

Thanks Larry, I don't know whether I should be glad to know that I'm not alone, or sad 'cause Avid won't acknowledge or fix the problems.
