Hi I'm rather new to editing in avid. I was working on a project using the Red offline online workflow. Unfortunately I wasn't the one who set up the project but the second editor to be brought on. So the project had already been set up. I edited with my proxies and swapped back to the RED footage, and there's an issue with the color now. It looks like it has a green filter on it. This only happens in the timeline, and not if I'm viewing the footage from a bin.
I am completely lost on what to do. At first I thought this was just a display issue but when i rendered a test clip with the raw it came out looking like the green side. I am unsure what I've done wrong. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Right-click on the Record Monitor, select Display Color Space, what is selcted there? Do the same for the Source Monitor, what is selected there? There may also be a LUT being applied to the footage in the Timeline.
Both are set to Project, and the projects color space is RGB 709. How would I check for a LUT being applied?
One thing I did notice that in the source monitor, when I'm viewing the synced clips they are also green (so once theyve been relinked and then turned into a subclip with the sound they're green in both monitors.) So I thought maybe its an issue with the syncing? However dragging the raw footage straight into the timeline also makes it green. It's really weird when its still showing up fine in the bin.
