Hi,
I'm trying to link to a Prores HQ QT that is 1920 x 804, which the provider says is HD scope. It links but when I click on the clip I get an error message and the option to abort, exit application or continue but unable to view or use clip.
The clip is 25p and I have another that is 24p which is giving the same result. I've tried it in a custom 1920 x 804 sized project and a HD project and get same results. I've tried re-wrapping the file in Adobe Media Encoder but same result.
Will Avid not link correctly to non standard preset resolutions? Or is there something wrong with the files?
Thanks
There was a bug raised about non std Prores file support. I think its resolved in the current MC version. I see you are a few back.

Hi Pat,
Thanks for that. I'm really bad at keeping my profile up to date. I'm actually on MC 8.9.4.
I'll try an update and see it that resolves it.
Cheers.
Pretty sure it was spotted after 8.9.4 fingers crossed the current version resolves it.
Updated to MC 2018.4 and issue was reolved.
Thanks again.
