1) Include the EQ Preset files in the folder where they are in MC. It cost Avid to remove them.
2) When one LINKS to XAVC the UHD files work, but put a big load on a system. Yes, you can transcode them to DNxHD -- but they become FHD so one cannot pan/scan to FHD from UHD.
So why not INTERNALLY support transcode to DNxHR. Again, it cost money to prevent this from happening. MCF would still only export DNxHD.
3) Change the export DNxHD button to say 16-bit not 24-bit audio.
4) Since the Export button already says 48kHz, why not change the DNxHD parameter to 48kHz?
5) Why on earth is the audio that goes with H.264 24-bit -- yet is 48kHz?
6) Allow Columns to be set from both TEXT and SCRIPT bin views.
7) Provide a way to toggle off Smart Tools.
8) Prevent the DELETE/BS key offering to allow one to delete a Track. Force a forward delette.
9) Return the 601 check box in Source Settings.
10) Remove all the 1394 stuff in the Index. Clean the whole Index.
11) Make it public that 8.10 MCF works fine under the Home version of the Creator's release of Windows 10.
And, that Nvida's 10XX GPUs work. Stop qualifying "free" software!
In 6 months, I've only had a couple of crashes. I have to wonder why others are having problems because I don't think it's MCF's fault. Rock solid code. And, I haven't had anyone complain to me -- even under OSX on a very old iMac.
12) Prevent this "false hope" message from appearing. Just say No.
PS: My bad for not realizing many of the audio filters I thought were not in MCF, really are. Why I don't know, when the EQ Presets are not.
