I am editing on a 30 day trial of avid on my computer at home but my trail is going to run out so I want to know how to move my avid project from my pc to the uni's mac's (that have the full version of avid). I have an external hard drive that I want to use to transfer the project (its a Lacie hard drive). Unforchanatly when setting it up I didn't really understand the setup process and I have partitioned it so that 3.9 TB can only be read by macs and I have only 22 GB that can be read by both. I want to know what files I need to put on the external hard drive and where to get them from and then where to copy them to on the mac in order to make the project work. (I don't know the original file location for the footage files and I also don't know how to find it out).
Hello Chris,
Here is a good start.

Cant find the OMFI MediaFiles and the Avid Media Files folder and I did an windows explorer search on both my drives.

They should be at the root level of whatever drive your media is stored on. So, for example, if your media is on E, the folder would be:
E:\Avid MediaFiles
