Many times when I search for a phrase in scripts, and then double-clip to open that section, nothing happens. I know to hit Cmd-' to send the script "home," and it then magically appears, but why is this very confusing step necessary?
Here is my suspicion: the AE who works on the scripts might orient his bin/composer monitors differently than I do, so the script is saved as being off-screen. But I would say: that's dumb. If you call for a script to open, it should do that on one of your available screens.
ScriptSync is one of the standout features that makes MC the vital tool we use, but seems like it has gotten very little love from the programming team.
