In Affects editing mode, I drog and drop Timewarp/Timewarp into the clip on my sequence and this is what popup.
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Okay, it seemed I have to hold the Alt key while drag-n-drop the effect. However, I still don't understand why I'm losing duration. For example, the clip shows A for three seconds, then B for 3 seconds, then C for 3 seconds, and finally D for 3 seconds. However, when I slowed this clip down, it shows only A,B, and C and the scene that has D is now gone. Any suggestion or explanation why?

That's what you have to do if there is already an effect on the clip.

Your clip is 12 seconds long, and consists of shots A, B, C, and D. If you drop a timewarp on it slowing it to 50% speed, you need to trim out the end, because what used to take 12 seconds to show A, B, C, and D will now take 24 seconds.
Timewarp doesn't change the length of the clip, it changes the speed of the material in the clip.

What I still don't quite understand is, why are frames that shows D are no longer there? Here's what I thought. Instead of taking 12 seconds to show A,B,C,D it is now taking 24 seconds to show A,B,C, and D. But in this case, D is totally not there. Timewarp cuts/shorten that whole clip out to show only A,B and C.
Alcy:
I believe the issue you're describing has to do with whether or not the position graph indicator bar remains "in bounds" relative to the speed graph. Here are a series of timewarp tutorials. While they are a bit old now, the workflow in the tool remains the same. Of particular interest to you will be tutorial 3 which goes into detail about the position graph.

Ok, try this:
1. Mark in to out on a clip in the timeline.
2. Note the I/O length of the clip.
3. Clear your in and out marks.
4. Drag & drop a Timewarp effect on the clip you marked in step 1.
5. Adjust the Timewarp speed to 50%.
6. Mark in to out on the clip.
7. Note the I/O length of the clip.
The length in step 7 should be the same as the length in step 2. That's because you're not changing how long the clip is, you are only changing the speed of the material in the clip.
The material which used to take 12 seconds to play ABC and D now takes 24 seconds to play, but you haven't made the shot longer, so you won't see all of ABC and D.

Are A, B, C, and D all the same length?
Quick question, do I drop the timerwarp effect to the clip in the source monitor OR after the clip has been edited into my sequence then apply the timewarp effect?

After. Then trim the end out (assuming we're using the 12 second A, B, C, D example.

Okay, I tried the 7 steps but it didn't work. The I/O duration is still the same, but the actual footage was cut off.

It's working like it's supposed to. I was trying to illustrate that timewarp doesn't change the duration, only the speed.
The next step in the process is to trim the end of the clip to make it longer. So if you started with a 12 second clip, and slowed it to 50% speed, you need to now park at the end of the clip, go into trim mode, and trim the clip 12 seconds longer.

Okay, I'll give that a try but here's a screen capture of the issue I'm having.
I watched your video, and I fully understand. There are two possible ways to go, depending on what you want the outcome to be.
1. If you want the clip to be 7:12 in duration, AND you want the lady's face to be the last image, go into slip trim (rollers on the inside of the clip) and slip to the right until the lady's face is the last image.
2. If you do not care what the duration is, and you just want to see the entire clip from beginning to end, park on the final frame of the clip, go into trim mode with the roller on the left side of the edit, and drag to the right until the lady's face is the last image.
3. If you want some other outcome, what is it?

Thank you so much for all your help! I got what I needed. These two steps above solved my problem.
You're welcome!
Okay, on slight issue. In trim mode, it won't let me show more footage by moving the roller to the right side eventhough there are more footage on the right side. In this case, I don't care about the duration. I just want to show more.
