Agreed with smxpix. If you're looking for flat zeros at picture start, have it start at the one- hour (or ten-hour) mark, not the one- minute mark. That's a much more common practice - and that way, you don't get confused by the "minute" part of the timecode when you check it for running time.

You are correct, there is no frame designated as 00;01;00;00 in DFTC. Picture start is normally at hour 1, so 01;00;00;00 is valid. Bars, tone, slate generally begin @ 00;58;30;00. In your case, 12 sec., you should start at 00;59;48;00. If you want to start program at the 1 minute mark, your correct timecode would be 00;00;59:28.
