If not then you will have to encode the the .mov again using a significantly lower data rate (about 4 5th of the current data rate) so the resultant ISO file is no larger than 4.3GB's

Why is ISO file too big out of Avid DVD ?

I'm using Avid MC5 and trying to burn an ISO file to burn to DVD's, but my ISO file is too big. I come out of Avid MC5 by exporting the movie as a quicktime .mov file that winds up being 113 gigs. I then import the .mov file into Avid DVD by Sonic. I author the DVD with menu and extra content, etc. I then "Burn disc image" and the...

You should export as QT reference Avid DVD will accept that nicely without any outside transcodes. See Douglas tutorials http://web.archive.org/web/20120802031520/http://community.avid.com/forums/p/64930/363720.aspx#363720
