Hi Everyone! Our show show some footage using the Panasonic Lumix GX850 camera, which creates AVCHD MTS files. I am running MC 8.8.3, as well as 8.7. Another way of getting the database file into your project. (maybe easier) With the bin you want the media to go to open, use the File drop down menu\Input\Import media\ navigate to your Avid MediaFiles\MXF\1000 bin, select the msmMMOB.mdb and select open.

That is a very cool trick! I dragged the MXF clip into the bin and it played. Quality wasn't great, but in text view I see the clip is listed as DV 25 411. I'm working in 1080p on this project, so the clip looks a bit soft. But at least I know how to get an MXF into MC in the future. Thanks, Andrew.
