If you set up the capture bin view I described, when you hit ESC the number displayed in the "end" column will be the dead out point of the clip.

A couple of disks in raid 1 is seen by the system as a single disk, in case of failure of one of the disks You can carry on working on the other one replacing the broken disk later on to regain a the raid 1 pair; the thing is going to be slower than a single drive in a non raid configuration, if You want both speed and safety You'll have to look...

well, that's good to know. I just thought that Avid would not remember in and out points unless you manually set the in point and the out point yourself, before hitting the record button. I thought that if you only set an in point and then hit the record button, but hit Esc to stop capture, that there would not be an outpoint in your log sheet,...
